Gentle Chair Yoga offers all of us the huge benefits that come from gently stretching, opening and closing the body, synchronizing movements with our breath, all practised from a stable chair.
Many office and home based workers, desk bound for hours a day, will really benefit from these classes.
It can enhance everyone's yoga practice, and should not be seen as just for those with physical ability issues, stability limitations, seniors, or those recovering from an injury or illness.

Alongside the focus on the physical yoga postures and their alignment, we also look to tap into a more mindful state, to cultivate inner relaxation, lowering stress through yogic breathing.
Emphasis on soothing the body, incorporating more forward fold poses to guide our energy levels down from the day’s highs.

A wonderful time of the day to practice yoga, when the mind is still relatively quiet and more focus can be brought to our breath and to the yoga postures themselves.
Designed to open, stretch and get the body moving.
